The main changes are as follows
1)AC noise reduction:Traditional mains filters are used in traditional audio/video equipment, and better quality filters eliminate a certain degree of noise, which usually has a negative effect. For 205 signatures, we used an unconventional solution that eliminates noise and provides an unconstrained current flow. The benefit is a more immersive and obvious picture quality. Sound enhances the sense of space and dimension, and enhances consistency and naturalness.
2)Custom low-noise linear power supply: Usually Blu-ray players use switched mode power supplies (SMPS). The conversion from these power supplies introduces noise inevitably introduced into the circuit. Due to the high frequency conversion of these supplies, they also generate RFI, which in turn affects the video and audio signals. In contrast, the 205 signature uses a high-end linear power supply, and its components are specifically designed for its low-noise performance, which can provide a quiet and clean power supply for the circuit. Great progress has been made in the performance of all players. For video, there are greater details, more realistic colors, more dynamic contrast, improved image stability, and better depth. Digital and analog audio are also significantly improved for better timing, increased resolution, greater depth, and improved sound stages.
3)Customized, precision CNC part: When Blu-ray or SACD discs are played, high speed will cause unnecessary vibration and reduce disc reading accuracy. Our newly designed 4K optical disc transmission modification uses custom-made, precision CNC parts to replace mechanical parts with high-precision and extremely rigid materials. This ensures the clamping and resonance control of the hard disk, providing the highest level of data retrieval and the lowest jitter. High-performance audio power supply: The sound quality of analog audio is mainly affected by its power supply. Our goal is to reduce undesirable noise and loss of interfering signals, reducing noise = cleaner signal and purer sound. Of the 205 signatures, we have upgraded the analog power supply to achieve maximum fidelity.
4)Discrete, ultra-low noise adjustment: The analog audio part power supply has been optimized to make full use of ES9038RO Sabre DAC and related audio stages. The traditional regulator is replaced by a discrete ultra-low noise type, which has 1/168 output noise and nearly 2000 times the ripple noise rejection (PSRR). This enables a very low noise floor while improving dynamic range and stereo separation. Femto clock: In order to give full play to the potential of the ES9038PRO chip, we must achieve the lowest phase noise (jitter). The clock selected in the 205 signatures has a staggering 68 femtosecond jitter RMS (frequency measurement from 100 Hz to 100 KHz), which is 0.068 picoseconds, the lowest in the industry. The clock uses an ultra-low noise discrete regulator circuit, 1.1 nv /√ Hertz @1KHz PSRR 132 db @ 6 v. The realization of this flying clock fully optimizes the es9038 pro, making its full potential can be realized.
5)Active EMI/RFI noise reduction: In a quiet environment, the operating conditions of video and audio have been greatly improved. In any Blu-ray player, video processing will generate its own noise, and will also succumb to external noise, which will affect the overall performance of the player. In order to achieve the quietest electrical conditions, in the 205 signatures, we use materials to absorb excess electromagnetic interference/RFI and improve the flow of electrons to achieve the best performance regardless of the environment.
